Find a Lost iPhone
If you can’t find your iPhone,you can locate the missingphone using your watch. Youdon’t even have to worry aboutyour Find My settings to usethis method. Wake your watchand then swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to accessthe Control Center. On the topleft corner, you’ll see a greeniPhone icon to indicate that youriPhone can be located with yourwatch. Tap and hold the iPhoneicon. This will cause your iPhoneto ping and light up its LEDflashlight.

Maybe you want to save afunny text message or sharea favorite song. Whatever thereason, taking a screenshoton the Apple Watch can comein handy, but that feature isn’tautomatically enabled. To takea screenshot, open the Watchapp on your iPhone. On the MyWatch tab, select General, thentoggle on Enable Screenshots.On your watch, hold down theDigital Crown and Side buttontogether to take a screenshot.

Create a Custom Text
Message
Your Apple Watch comeswith a smart list of replies foranswering text messages. Butwhat if you want to say something unique like “Shiver metimbers” or “ 10-4 good buddy?”You can create custom repliesin the Watch app on youriPhone. Open the My Watch taband select Messages, then tapDefault Replies. Scroll down tothe bottom and tap Add Reply.
Enter your custom reply and tapdone on your keyboard to addthe response to your smart list.
Send an Audio Recording as
a Reply
On your Apple Watch, youcan send a transcribed message, but you can also send anaudio clip if you want to avoidan embarrassing faux pas. Onyour iPhone, open the Watchapp. From the My Watch tab,select Messages. Tap DictatedMessages, then set your repliesto Transcript or Audio. Next timeyou use your voice to respondto a text, you’ll be given achoice to send either the transcription or an audio clip.

Disable Maps Notifications on
the Watch
If you’re driving, then the lastthing you want to worry aboutis being interrupted with Mapsnotifications on your wrist. Totemporarily disable Maps onyour watch, open the Watchapp on your iPhone. On the MyWatch tab, select Maps, thentoggle off Driving and Drivingwith CarPlay. Now, your watchwill only send you notificationswhen you’re on foot or on public transit.
