This is a
multitasking game changer! While an app is open, drag up
slightly from the bottom of the screen, tap and hold an icon in
the dock, then drag it to the side of the screen. You can touch
and hold the top of the secondary app to move it around the
screen or lock it to one side or the other. Touch and hold the
dividing lines between apps to adjust the proportions.

This allows
you to
work on two notes at the same time or copy and paste from
multiple conversations in messages or email. To do so, open
one of Apple’s native apps, swipe up slightly from the bottom
of the screen, then tap the icon for the same app to open the
App Exposé view, which shows you all open instances of a
specific app. Tap the plus sign in the top right of your display
to open a new window of the same app.

way I’ve
found to
share pho-
tos and videos with friends. Using the previous tips, open the
photos app alongside mail or messages. Touch and drag your
chosen photos or videos over into the message or email. Tap
send and you’re done!

select a
sentence,
paragraph,
or URL in
Safari and
pull it over
into a note in seconds. Open Safari, then open Notes along-
side it by swiping up slightly from the bottom of the screen,
touching and dragging the app to the side of the screen. Touch
and hold to select a chunk of text, then tap, hold, and drag the
text over to Notes.
